On Saturday, November 1, public open hours at the Buffalo Bill Center of the West in Cody, Wyoming, change to 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. daily. That schedule remains in effect for the month of November; winter hours of 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Thursday – Sunday begin on December 1.
Fall and winter programs and events at the Center of the West include appearances by the live birds of the Draper Museum Raptor Experience each day at 1 p.m. At these “Relaxing with Raptors” sessions, which are free with paid admission to the Center, visitors have the opportunity to view the birds up close and ask questions about them.
The Center also announces its fall and winter schedule of Family Fun Days, the first of which is the fourth annual “Hootin’ Howlin’ Halloween” on October 31 from 1:30 – 4:30 p.m. Future Family Fun Days include the following: “A Muzeum” Race on November 21, Night at the Museum on January 23, and Games of the Old West on March 20.
