Plains Indian Arrows Workshop
June 23 – 25, 8:30 – 11:30 a.m.
Learn about the use of the bow and arrow on the Northern Plains, including shooting styles, basic construction, and cultural importance. In this workshop, Nakoda (Assiniboine) educator and craftsman Ernest Gendron guides visitors in the step-by-step process of crafting arrows. Visitors come away with their own arrows, and the knowledge to craft more.
Advance registration is required. Cost is $70 for Buffalo Bill Center of the West members; $75 for non-members.
