Holiday Open House at the Buffalo Bill Center of the West

This year’s Holiday Open House, an annual tradition in Cody, brings a weekend of free admission to the Buffalo Bill Center of the West.

Enjoy our beautiful holiday decorations, complimentary hot cocoa and candy canes, two free days to explore the Center’s five spacious museums, and discounts in Points West Market to jump-start your Christmas shopping.

Food & Toy Drive

We encourage families attending to share the holiday spirit by contributing to the collection boxes that will be stationed at our front door entrance.

› Bring non-perishable food items; they will be distributed through Cody food pantries.
› Bring new, packaged toys; they will be distributed through Toys for Tots.

Santa Claus

Santa will be visiting the Center and roving our galleries from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. both days of the Open House! Catch up with him here and share your list!

Store Sales

Our on-site store, Points West Market, is planning a plethora of storewide savings for the whole weekend, plus a free poster is included with every $50 purchase!

Raptor Program

The birds of our Draper Museum Raptor Experience join us for “Relaxing with Raptors” at 1 p.m.

Exclusive Tours Drawing

The guides from our Exclusives Tours program will be in attendance. Stop by and chat with them and enter your name into a drawing for a chance to win a tour of the museum of your choice. Or buy a tour as a truly one-of-a-kind gift for someone on your list!

Mobile Library Outside

And on Sunday, December 4, the Park County Library Mobile Outreach Van joins us, and will be parked outside of the Center all day. Stop by and find out what this new pop-up library is all about!
