Strikes His Enemy Pretty, Crow

This is one of several informal portraits of one of Sharp's favorite Crow Agency models.  This version of the Crow man was donated to the Cincinnati Art Museum in 1904, and given the signature style was probably painted in 1903 or 1904.

The Gilcrease Museum owns another later but similar version. (related image, #492)
