Strikes His Enemy Pretty - Firelight; [Strikes His Enemy Pretty, Crow (By Firelight)]

In December 1908 Sharp held a exhibition of over 60 paintings at the Fishel, Adler & Schwartz Gallery in New York.  Titled Pictures by J. H. Sharp, it included two portraits of the artist's favorite Crow sitters, Strikes His Enemy Pretty. This firelight version commanded a price of $400 and was donated to the Cincinnati Art Museum a couple of years later.
