WHAT FUN!! The annual meeting was held at the Center on May 8th to the 10th. It was great to see the almost 120 attendees enjoying Cody and even getting around to the Heart Mountain Interpretive Center and the Meeteetse Museums.
The keynote speaker was Harold Closter, Director of Smithsonian Affiliations. Mr. Closter gave a very lively presentation on Advocating for Museums, the topic of this year’s CWAM conference. While he was at the Center, Mr. Closter visited the large collection of Smithsonian Institution firearms that are currently on loan to the Center.
The staff of the Center and the CWAM board worked seamlessly to make the annual meeting a raging success!! Thank you to Josie Hedderman for her tireless work in planning and execution of the logistics and catering!!
