Memorial events announced for former Center Board Chair Alan K. Simpson
Memorial observances for former U.S. Sen. Alan K. Simpson will take place in late March in three Cowboy State cities. Cheyenne, Laramie, and Cody will each host separate gatherings in remembrance of the beloved Wyoming statesman.
The staff, Trustees and Advisors of the Buffalo Bill Center of the West are mourning the loss of Simpson, 93, a former chairman of the Center’s Board of Trustees, 56-year board member, and ardent supporter of the institution, who passed away on Friday, March 14.
