According to a letter from Sharp to Gest on 11/20/07, Sharp visited the Shoshone and Arapaho at Ft. Washakie, WY in the fall of 1907 and may have, according to some of Sharp's notes on paintings of Shoshone and Arapaho Indians, also painted there as early as 1904. (see #87)
