Join Exclusive Tours on January 12 at 6 p.m. for our first ever Virtual Exclusive Tours: Cocktail Chronicles. While the wind and snow bluster and blow, you don’t have to worry about leaving the warmth of your home to explore history!

From coast to coast, men and women across the nation endured scandals, hijinks, and above all…drama! Discover what historical figures like Buffalo Bill, C.M. Russell, and Theodore Roosevelt were doing when they thought nobody was looking. We’ll explore history, answer questions, and venture into the vaults that make our museum a treasure trove of knowledge.

These tawdry and tantalizing historical tidbits from the American West will be paired with historic libations for an unforgettable experience with the past. Raise a glass to this unique journey through time, where each sip is a toast to the fascinating stories behind historical figures and the drama they (and, often, their drinks) caused.

We start the evening out with a virtual visit with our resident mixologist, who guides participants through crafting iconic cocktails inspired by these historical figures and bygone eras. Once we finish the cocktail mixing tutorials for these historic libations, you can sip on your drinks in the comfort of your own home while virtually cruising through the Center of the West galleries and vaults with the Exclusive Tours team.

Participants at this Virtual Exclusive Tour join through Zoom. After registering, you will receive a list of drinks to be featured in this “Cocktail Chronicles” along with a list of required supplies to purchase if you’d like to follow along in the creation of the cocktails. Exclusive Tours staff will happily work with you over the phone to help troubleshoot connection concerns before the event. All you need is a cellphone, tablet, or computer with a camera that can participate in video chats.
