Enter our “RAD” Contest (Recycled Art Design) Contest for our Earth Day celebration!

For our Earth Day celebration on April 27, 2019, we are launching a new contest is addition to our always-popular Recycled Vehicle Race. It promotes conservation through a unique art exhibit featuring RAD contestants in honor of Earth Day.
Guidelines and Requirements
Artists’ projects are unique artworks specifically for the Buffalo Bill Center of the West Earth Day event. Artists of all disciplines and skill levels are encouraged to submit their projects. Individuals or families may submit projects.
Projects must:
- Be constructed of cleaned recycled materials.
- Must be accompanied by the necessary art label information, including: 1) the artist’s or family’s name, i.e. “Tony Stark” and the “Stark Family”; 2) the project’s title; 3) a list of recycled material used.
- Be of a size so that ONE artist or individual can transport it to and from the Buffalo Bill Center of the West; art will be displayed on a table.
- Be complete upon arrival at the Center; any work on the project after its arrival will be grounds for disqualification.
- Be submitted to either Liz Bowers.
- Submission deadline extended to Friday, April 26, 2019!
All projects must be family appropriate and relate to the theme of Earth Day. The Buffalo Bill Center of the West will not be responsible for the care or protection of artworks. The Center will not be responsible for any lost or stolen items.

Projects to be judged and voted on by community vote. Winners will be announced at the Buffalo Bill Center of the West Earth Day Event on April 27, 2019.
Exhibit
All projects to remain on exhibit until May 6. All submissions may be picked up between May 6–10. Final date for retrieval is May 13. Any art not removed by May 13 will be recycled.
