Ailey Hall, originally from Houston, Texas, has earned a BA in English from Auburn University in Alabama and a MA in Romantic Victorian studies from University of St. Andrews in Fife, Scotland.
Ailey is currently working as a summer intern with the Papers of William F. Cody archival team at the Buffalo Bill Center of the West.
Her goal is to pursue a career in archival research. It’s her passion to explore artifacts or pieces of information, then go down rabbit holes to find out their stories—and she never runs out of Buffalo Bill rabbit holes to go down!
While staying in Cody, Ailey has been spending her free time hiking, reading, and playing board games with other interns. She enjoys baking, creative writing, any and all documentaries, and, it goes without saying that she is a devoted history enthusiast.
Ailey is also an avid traveler and has been to England, Scotland, Uganda, and Tunisia.
