Holiday Open House at the Buffalo Bill Center of the West
December 6 & 7, 2025 • 10 a.m.–5 p.m.
The Buffalo Bill Center of the West’s Holiday Open House is an annual tradition in Cody. Enjoy two free days to explore the Center’s five spacious museums, sip chuckwagon hot cocoa over an open fire, pick up candy canes, and take in live singing, a quintet, a handbell ensemble, clog dancers, discounts in Points West Market, and more. Winter family photo opportunities will be available at various points throughout the Center.

Food & Toy Drive
Families are encouraged to share the holiday spirit by contributing to the collection boxes stationed at the front door entrance. Bring non-perishable food items; they will be distributed through local food pantries. Bring new, packaged toys; they will be distributed through Holiday Helpers.
Santa's Reindeer Ranch
Santa will visit the Center from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. both days at “Santa’s Reindeer Ranch.” Be sure to stop by the Draper Museum Tile Map to share your wish list.
Raptor Program
The Draper Museum Raptor Experience will happen in the Coe Auditorium at 2 PM on both Saturday and Sunday.

Membership Deals

Kids Coloring Contest
Kids can join the coloring contest by downloading the picture (HERE) or by picking one up at admissions. Submit entries during the Holiday Open House. Winners (age groups) will be chosen Monday, December 8.
