6–8 p.m.
Join Plains Indian Museum Curator Gordon Ambrosino and Assistant Curator Hunter Old Elk November 17 at 6 p.m. for an exclusive journey filled with powerful symbolism, hidden stories, and timeless artifacts.
Objects in the Plains Indian Museum range from the functional trappings of every-day life to works of exquisite artistry, so don’t miss out on the chance to engage with one of the nation’s largest collections dedicated to Plains Indian cultures. Gordon talks about rock art of the Big Horn Basin, and his future plans for the Plains Indian Museum’s exhibits.
Participants will connect with the living traditions of these indigenous cultures as well as the rewards and challenges that come with stewarding such diverse collections and the projects undertaken to preserve them. Inspired by the stories of Native American men and women who lived and thrived on the Plains, Gordon and Hunter share some of their favorite objects and stories during this Exclusive Tours and Toddies event.
Following the tour, the group gathers at our Exclusive Tours Depot for charcuterie, drinks, and treats. It’s an exciting and exclusive evening you won’t want to miss!
This Tours and Toddies experience is $60 per person, and just $55 for Center of the West members.
This event is now sold out! Look for our upcoming Tours & Toddies event, which will be posted on our calendar as soon as details are available. For more information, call 307-254-7073 or e-mail [email protected].
