Jeff Rudolph Buffalo for West Park Hospital
The hospital and art worlds collided recently at the sculpture studio of artist Jeff Rudolph when West Park Hospital commissioned him for a Jeff Rudoph buffalo sculpture to be used as a fund-raiser for their “Bridge to the Future” building campaign.
Doug McMillan, West Park Hospital CEO, and Graham Jackson, Director of the West Park Hospital Foundation, both spoke about the process of working with artists during the selection and sculpting process. Mutual admiration society of clergymen Jeff Rudolph and Randy Leisey, Hospice Chaplain, also occurred next to the Buffalo.
Casts of the Jeff’s buffalo will be made, and many artists will have their hands in painting and perhaps even tiling the buffalo sculptures.
The buffaloes will be auctioned off during a big, fancy celebration for West Park Hospital’s “Bridge to the Future” campaign.
Perhaps the sculpture will be known as “Bridge the Buffalo.”
Or what else could the buffalo be named? hmm…..
