Hunting Son - Firelight

Corinne Durand Nalle, Dorothy Durand Garrett and Jane Durand Lee in memory of Mr. and Mrs. Archer Leslie Durand.

It is thought that Archer L. Durand may have purchased this painting along with a number of others in a large acquisition in June, 1940 when he paid Sharp $2,175. Sharp had owned the painting for at least 15 years, since it was first exhibited in Cincinnati at the Traxel Art Galleries in November 1925 and there again in 1926.
