Two Leggins, Crow; [Chief Two Leggins]

Sharp had so much luck selling portraits of the illustrious Chief Two Leggins to collectors around 1901, he is thought to have ventured again into the subject in 1903. This one, however, did not sell and was in Sharp's inventory in the mid-1940s when Thomas Gilcrease came shopping. (for the other, earlier versions see #s 127, 251 and 289)
