This view of Picuris Peak south of Taos as seen from the artist's back yard is a summer scene that contrasts to a more autumn view from The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art variously titled Storm Clouds - Taos Valley and Clearing After Storm/New Mexico (# 503).
