The Medicine Man

Despite the fact that Sharp referred to his painting, Sioux Scalp Dance of 1946 (#487) as his "Swan Song," he kept painting through the late 1940s. This work, The Medicine Man, and Interior of Sweat Lodge of 1948 (#35) are exemplary.
