This portrait was exhibited in 1906 in New York at the Fishel, Adler & Schwartz Galleries, in Cincinnati’s Closson Galleries in 1908, in Indianapolis also in 1908, and back in Cincinnati in 1912 and 1916. When Cole purchased it is unknown.
