Inscribed on paper attached to backing: buffalo Eats - Ogolala Sioux & Custer Warrior & other early battles against whites and Indian enemies. I caught him in his every day clothes (when he had them on) and concentrated on his face and character - He was pleased with the result. Many of them would make no comment.
