Rosie Big Beaver, Cheyenne

Rosie was the daughter of Laban Little Wolf, who at the time of this portrait was the Cheyenne chief. This young woman may be the same as (or a relative of) Cecelia Big Beaver whose portrait was shown with Rosie's parents, Laban Little Wolf and Willow Woman, in the University Club of Cincinnati's show, An Exhibition of Pictures of the West in 1912. (See #s 419 and 68)
