Chief White Grass - Blackfoot

There are at least two other portraits of this Blackfeet man, see #s 413 and 414. This portrait shows the expressiveness of his face and character better than the others, however. It was painted in 1901 and was illustrated in an article on Sharp in the Cincinnati Enquirer in January 1902.
