Yellow Teepee - Crow; [Winter scene, one tipi]

This painting titled Yellow Teepee - Crow was sold to Mrs. Hearst for $275 in November 1913 according to the artist's sales ledgers. (Sharp Papers)

While Sharp referred to this as a Crow teepee, it seems to resemble the artist's Blackfeet buffalo hide teepee that sat just outside to the south of his studio window at Crow Agency.
