A painting by this title was shown in Indian Paintings and Western Landscapes at Traxel’s New Art Galleries in Cincinnati in 1922. Another similar painting titled Arrow Maker – Firelight appeared in the same gallery in a show by the same name the next year, 1923. However, the latter work is annotated in the catalogue brochure as measuring 16 x 20 inches which is smaller than the Cincinnati Art Museum’s work.
