Little Whirlwind, Blackfoot; [Little Whirlwind]

This portrait of a Blackfeet man was, oddly enough but according to Sharp's inscription, painted at Lame Deer, Montana among the Cheyenne.  It was shown as a Cheyenne portrait at the Cincinnati Museum in 1900 and may have been purchased by Butler from that show.
