This is a common view selected by Sharp from the window of his studio at Crow Agency. The teepee on the left was owned by the artist and was a rare Blackfeet buffalo hide lodge that he used generously as a prop and an auxiliary studio. The other teepees are Crow and represent a typical Crow camp pitched just north of the Little Big Horn River.
