Saddle up for a night of eating and drinking with Buffalo Bill! Join the Buffalo Bill Center of the West’s Exclusive Tours Program for an unforgettable dinner event based on meals and menus from Buffalo Bill’s Wild West!

Our kitchen is rustling up some of William F. “Buffalo Bill” Cody’s favorite foods, digging into the archives, and pulling from recipes that Buffalo Bill’s own cooks prepared.

What did those cooks feed the Wild West cast and crew every day? What did they whip up for Italian citizens during their 1890 European tour? Step into Buffalo Bill’s dinner tent and taste for yourselves some of the foods he made available to his friends, family, and fans.

Guests at this one-of-a-kind dinner curated from the menus of Buffalo Bill himself spend the evening eating and drinking their way through Buffalo Bill’s Wild West, enjoying everything from pomme parisiennes to red lemonade.

The feast is followed by a presentation from Steve Friesen, retired director of the Buffalo Bill Museum and Grave in Golden, Colorado and author of the book Galloping Gourmet: Eating and Drinking with Buffalo Bill. Friesen’s talk is based on his research and offers unique insights into Buffalo Bill’s Wild West and the food that fueled the Congress of Rough Riders of the World. A copy of Galloping Gourmet is included with your ticket to the event

This experience is $85 per person, and just $75 for Center of the West members. Spots are limited and advanced registration is required.

Participants are encouraged to attend this event in their best western attire. Whether you’re a history buff or just looking for a unique night out, this event promises a memorable adventure for all!
