What is WyoGives?

WyoGives, an initiative of the Wyoming Nonprofit Network, brings the state together as one community to raise money and awareness for Wyoming’s nonprofits on one day each year and one website. WyoGives.org is an easy-to-use platform where individuals can search and donate to nonprofits across the state that are making a difference in our communities every day.

One day of giving for one year of impact.

This year, The Buffalo Bill Center of the West’s goal is to raise $25,000 through WyoGives to cover the annual cost of two educational program series: the Draper Natural History Museum’s Lunchtime Expeditions and the McCracken Research Library’s Local Lore programs and recordings.

These program series provide:

» A platform for experts to share their stories, research, photographs, and other works on the West

» A way for in-person and online audiences to hear directly from those who know the content best

 Our namesake, Buffalo Bill, was known for surrounding himself with the best and brightest from every industry, culture, and walk of life. He traveled the world to showcase what he knew about the West and hosted countless friends and dignitaries in Cody, Wyoming. The Buffalo Bill Center of the West fulfills its mission to cultivate the enduring spirit of the American West through a continual pursuit and exchange of knowledge and hospitality.

What you can give on July 15:
  • ONE program online
  • ONE hour of AV support
  • ONE hotel room
  • ONE honorarium
  • ONE plane ride
  • ONE year of content captured
  • ONE year of future programming
