Trip Advisor taps Buffalo Bill Center of the West as best Wyoming museum

FlipKey, a TripAdvisor company, has announced its list of the nation’s Top Museums Worth Traveling For—including its No.1 pick for Wyoming: the Buffalo Bill Center of the West.

“Whether you’re a history buff, a lover of fine art, or you just want to spend a day inside in an air conditioned building while learning something—there is definitely a museum for you,” FlipKey says. “The weird, the wild, and the ‘wow!’ can all be found in museums across the USA.”

The company searched every state to create its list, seeking out the “most loved and most talked about museums for each state across the country,” according to company spokesman Chelsea Tyler. “We are thrilled to announce that, based on industry research and traveler feedback, the Center of the West is #1 for Wyoming!”

The Center, rated as the top attraction in Cody by TripAdvisor fans, has also earned TripAdvisor’s Certificate of Excellence Award for the last three years.
