This version of Two Leggins appeared in Sharp's Special Exhibition of Indian Portraits Painted from Life at the Cosmos Club in Washington, DC in 1901. This early portrait of the legendary chief of the Mountain Crow was illustrated in Leslies Weekly, January 3, 1907 and the Portland Oregonian, February 23, 1908.  (See a second version, #209)
