There is no record who the recipient of this landscape was, only his first name "Jack" is mentioned in the inscription. It was evidently a Christmas gift to a friend of Sharp's, much like the watercolor Teepee Landscape he sent to one of Charles Bair's daughters, Marguerite or Alberta, that same year, 1905.
