Join Scarlett Curator of Western American Art for the Whitney Western Art Museum Susan Barnett, and Curatorial Assistant Dr. Ashlea Espinal, in celebrating 64 years of Western Art at the Buffalo Bill Center of the West.

Because each painting and sculpture on view in the Whitney shares a story about the American West from a unique perspective, what better way to understand their passions than experiencing it with the experts? Feel like VIPs as you walk in the footsteps of history’s master artists and get behind-the-scenes stories!

During this premium two-hour event, Susan and Ashlea share facts, stories, and tidbits about the western painters and art styles that inspire art today. Guests will also learn about all the exciting changes and new artworks on display in the Whitney’s recently renovated galleries.

At the end of the tour, Susan and Ashlea bring the group back to the Exclusive Tours Depot for Q&A, charcuterie, and adult beverages. Guests will get to celebrate the Whitney Western Art Museum’s 64th anniversary in style with our “Paint Pot Sour” specialty drink and other colorful confections.
