October Camp—Crow Reservation

The inscription on this painting is revealing.  He called this "October Camp - Crow Reservation" and followed that title with "#21." This would suggest how many of these views from his Crow Agency studio window he painted.  These all tend to focus on the Blackfeet teepee that Sharp purchased in the summer of 1905 in northern Montana.
