Join Exclusive Tours in welcoming two-time National Finals Rodeo (NFR) Photographer of the Year, Christopher “Click” Thompson to Cody, Wyoming, and the Buffalo Bill Center of the West for a Deluxe Tours and Toddies program. During the heart of Cody’s Stampede Rodeo celebrations, here’s another chance to experience our unique cowboy culture!

Whether you are a budding photographer, rodeo aficionado, or just love the history of the Old West, you don’t want to miss spending time with Click as he shares his serendipitous photographic journey into the heart of the American rodeo.

Photographer, graphic designer, and educator, Thompson channels his East Coast roots to capture a modern western icon: The American Cowboy. From the grand vistas of the American West to the boots and spurs of each cowboy passed, there are always new moments to see, feel, capture, and share. Click’s journeys over this last decade have taken him to many of the industry’s most prestigious events, including the National Finals Rodeo, Cody Stampede, Cheyenne Frontier Days, Pendleton Roundup, American Rodeo, Rodeo Houston, and Professional Bull Riders World Finals.

Participants at this Tours and Toddies event join Click and our expert Exclusive Tours guides on a tour through rodeo and cowboy history. From paintings by Charlie “the Kid” Russell and N.C. Wyeth in the Whitney Western Art Museum to the legendary performers of the Buffalo Bill Wild West show, Click’s photographs will be on display FOR ONE DAY ONLY alongside some of our most treasured artifacts. Much like Russell, Wyeth, and Buffalo Bill’s artistic visions of the West, Thompson shares the stories and challenges behind the favorite modern flicks he’s captured while your Exclusive Tours guide shares the history.

At the end of the tour, Click brings the guests back to the Exclusive Tours Depot for additional Q&A, custom charcuterie, and adult beverages.
